What do those who have used Campigaz Party grill 400 have to say?
I bought this stove for the camper, attached to the 10kg LPG cylinder with appropriate gearbox, and I must say that I was very satisfied with it. Tired of cooking in camper I wanted something that would cook outside, space-saving with which you could cook everything. this is perfect. the flame at most is powerful, cooked by grills, water for the pasta and also the coffee. of excellent workmanship, robust, easy to use and space-saving. No less provided with its bag to store it in the locker. Cleaning is simple, the plate is not cast iron, but non-stick is cleaned with a damp rag even after a grill. the bottom if it is filled by water collects grease and does not soil. what to say. at the discounted price of 25% was a great purchase. last ultrafast shipping. highly recommended.
I really like the item as intended, but it is a grill only.
It says ‘bbq’ which implies long-slow indirect cooking, which is impossible from what I can see as the lowest possible gas flame raises the internal temp to well above 180-200C. I’d expect to be able to turn the gas flame much lower, but you just can’t.
I have still given it 5 stars because it is a neat innovative product that works great as a direct-grill/griddle. While it does not explicitly state that it supports indirect cooking, whereas this miss-sage of the phrase ‘BBQ’ clearly does imply that it should be cable of that.
The grossly-overpriced disposable Campingaz gas cartridges required to be used with this are proprietary, thus you will get massively price-gauged on them for replacements. Not a lot of places routinely stock them, so be sure to leave home with a good supply. Therefore I strongly urge you to get the ‘gas hose’ version and and external regulator that works off the globally available industry standard EN417 cartridges or a larger gas bottle.
It’s just a window-dressed gril, if you actually want to bbq properly, get the Weber Go-Anywhere instead.
Kinda recommended but I wish I had not been deliberately mislead and put the money towards the Weber. Highly recommended if you want just grill features.
Very great difficulty for the ignition of the device because the gas does not come out of the sprinkler.
have to turn on/light several times for about 15′ to get the flame. Once the device turns off and turn it back on is almost impossible
